About

The team behind VATTY

We are building the pre-submission VAT compliance layer: the easiest way for practices to gather VAT evidence, validate it against HMRC requirements and make confident reclaim decisions.

Why we exist

VAT problems start before the ledger

Most firms try to solve compliance at the end of the process, during review, when the data is already in the accounts. We saw the same pattern at firm after firm: incomplete invoices, hours lost to chasing, treatment that varies by who processed it, and no clear trail of what was checked and why.

Prevention over correction

The real issue starts before data ever reaches your accounting system, so that is where VATTY sits. Problems are prevented at the point of entry rather than fixed at quarter-end.

Evidence by default

Every decision VATTY supports comes with a structured audit trail, validation history and an exportable evidence bundle, so an HMRC question never becomes an HMRC problem.

Built for real workflows

We are onboarding a small number of firms to test VATTY in real workflows, run in parallel with their current process, with the impact measured on real client data.

Our goal: VAT that is controlled, consistent and predictable for every practice.
