Rates apply in bands, so your first five companies are charged at the Starter rate, the next nine at the Growth rate, and everything above fifteen at the Scale rate. Pricing questions, answered

How does per-company pricing work?
You’re billed for each company you process, and the rate falls in bands as your portfolio grows. Your first five companies are charged at the Starter rate, companies six to fourteen at the Growth rate, and anything above fifteen at the Scale rate. Because the bands apply to the companies within them rather than to your whole portfolio, adding a company never reduces your bill, and your average cost per company keeps falling.
What counts as a company?
Any client company you’re actively processing receipts and VAT Periods for. Remove a company you no longer act for and it stops counting towards your bill.
Why isn’t pricing based on users?
VAT risk sits with the companies and invoices you process, not with how many people log in. Your whole team can work in VATTY on every plan, at no extra cost.
Can I start on Free and move up later?
Yes. Free gives you the full assessment engine for one company. Add a second company and you move onto a paid plan, with your data carrying straight over.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Plans run monthly unless you choose annual billing, which saves 20%.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Evidence requests go to your clients and suppliers by email, and they reply through a secure link. Everything comes back into the relevant receipt record. You review and approve each request before it goes out.
What happens if a claim is reviewed?
Every receipt carries its own evidence history, and each VAT Period produces a versioned Evidence Pack recording what was checked, what was requested, what came back and the decision you made.
Can I buy VATTY today?
Not yet. We’re running a controlled pilot with a small number of practices first, and general sign-up opens after that. Pilot practices help shape the product and the pricing, and these prices are published now so there are no surprises later.
